ChiropractorThe Associate Chiropractor is responsible for helping patients achieve better spinal alignment and pain relief. The chiropractor will speak to patients to discuss injuries and health concerns, assess their physical condition and lifestyle, order tests, administer treatment, and provide advice about extended care and pain management.Roles & Responsibilities:Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visitCreating a plan of care that focuses on the patients overall health and wellbeingAssessing the patients spine, posture, and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatmentPerforming neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patients spine and other jointsProviding supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured areaGiving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise, and diet to improve patients physical healthMaintain current detailed patient recordsEnsure confidentiality and compliance with all legal and regulatory issues including but not limited to HIPAA.Participate in staff marketing days, community trainings and networking eventsAct as a leader, encourager and supporter of staff, management, and patientsMaintain applicable licensing and remain current on best practices in patient care.Agreement with and alignment to Prince Health and Wellness mission, vision, and values.Qualifications for Chiropractor:Our ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experiencePrior experience working in a private practice setting is preferredExcellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to build relationships with patientsSuperior time management skills and the ability to juggle patient loadAbility to empathize with patients who are in chronic pain and a strong desire to help improve their quality of lifeMust be able to think critically and make judgements about how best to help patientsStrong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit teamUp to date on the latest chiropractic practices and a desire to provide cutting-age careMust be in good physical condition and have the dexterity and strength to perform adjustments and manipulations on patientsPossess a humble attitude and a servants heart for which no job is to small.
